• Minimum point score for successful applications – 32
• Total number of Certificates of Sponsorship granted – 1,028
• Balance of Certificates of Sponsorship carried over to May 2011 – 3,172
• Number of Certificates of Sponsorship available for allocation in May 2011 – 4,672

During the first month the total number of points required to qualify for a Tier 2 General visa was only 32 points. May 2011 is expected to see far greater demand as employers will now be prepared.
