Schengen Visas
If you’re an Indian, South African or Pakistani National on a temporary UK work visa (such as Tier 1 or Tier 2) you will need to gain a Schengen Visa to visit another European Country. Schengen Visas make travelling in Europe less bureaucratic as they remove the need for border controls within member states.
A Schengen Visa will allow you to travel freely within the Schengen Area for a maximum stay of 90 days in a 6 month period. Please be aware that the visa is only intended for travel, not work.
