At Commonwealth Contractors we believe that a Contractor should have a central point of contact, someone who knows their history and can provide the right advice and assistance without having to pass them to 10 other departments to answer any question.We also believe in building relationships through face to face meetings. If a contractor lives in Greater London and joins Expat Advantage, Managed Projects or decides to go into business with a Contractor Limited Company our Account Managers will travel to a convenient location to discuss options and undertake a setup. If a contractor is working at the time this could save them £200 – 600 in contract revenue and allow you to minimise any time spent away from a client site! Meetings may even be possible on Saturdays!
What Day to Day help and Assistance do Account Managers provide?
Among other things our Account Managers:- Advise Contractors on our full range of solutions
- Work quickly to complete set up and turn around contract paperwork
- Conduct IR35 assessments and contract revisions where required
- Meet Contractors after 6 weeks for review meetings to ensure they are happy
- Provide updates and reminders over Timesheets, Expenses, Invoices and Payments
- Call Contractors on the first payment to ensure they are happy
- Help with NI numbers and Bank Accounts where required
- Write letters for Loans, Mortgages, Immigration applications etc
- Help Contractors with CVs when looking for a new assignment Tax, Visa, Contracting Advice
On top of providing day to day help and assistance our Account Managers also offer advice on issues affecting contractors such as:
- IR35
- UK Visas and Work Permits (via OISC registered Immigration Partners)
- MSC Legislation
- Section 660a and Income Shifting
- Opt Out Agreements
