Once approved an ECAA visa will allow you to start a business of any size or sector without the need to invest £200,000 or create 2 full time positions for settled workers, as with the Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa. Please note that an ECAA visa will not allow you to take employment in the UK with another company. You must be Self Employed or the Director of your own Limited Company to qualify.

ECAA Visa Applications
ECAA Visas are normally approved for an initial period of 2 years after which time an extension may be granted for a further 3 years. Visa extensions may be approved where proof can be provided that the business has progressed in line with the original business plan.
