» Moving from Work Permit to Tier 2 (Work Permit)
If you’re a Highly Skilled IT Consultant with niche skills & valid Leave to Remain our Tier 2 Licensed Consultancy Partners may be prepared to sponsor you on a Tier 2 (Work Permit) visa where required.
Tier 2 Visas are normally approved quickly (1-3 weeks required), often run for an initial 3 year term & count towards Permanent Residence.
To take on an assignment our Partners must be working further to a project that generates at least £250 per professional day for at least 3 months in duration.

» Moving from Work Permit to Tier 1 (HSMP)
If you possess a Masters Degree & you’ve been generating a Highly Skilled wage for the past 12 months you may qualify for a Tier 1 (General) Visa. However, many Indian IT Professionals find it difficult to move to Tier 1 General Immediately due to:
- Payment Documentation: Some Indian employers provide insufficient payment documentation i.e. unstamped & unsigned payslips, no employment reference etc
- UK & Indian Joint Income: Many Consultancies pay seconded staff a UK allowance & an Indian salary (for tax reasons). This can make it difficult to prove income and gain points
- Business Expenses: Reimbursed expenses do not qualify as a suitable form of remuneration under Tier 1 General.
